We’re adding Rentek Direct to our site.
As you may be aware, we’re into Real Estate and have had experience with a variety of Cloud based Property Management Systems albeit thru our past and present Property Management firms. App Folio, which is currently used by our Property Management firm, is using the “leader of the pack”. But, I think there’s a new leader of the pack (lol).
This Cloud based system is and has been for our Multi-Family, Student Housing and Commercial properties. However, I’m looking for something better and competitively priced!

Now, with our DLG – Rehab making ready our first single family home for sale (with tentative rental options), We’re planning on a much simpler, more cost effective and great support for our single family homes. As such, we’ve joined the Rentec family and will be doing our trial over the coming month. Janell and I chatted about the online world, as well as her personal real estate properties, and her current position being the “Real World Gal” with a “Real World Solution”.
Several factors impressed me including the features/benefits, low expense (startup and operation), and some unique features, e.g., Quick Books synch, scope of reports, etc.
The result of today’s discussion, I’ll be busy integrating Rentec into our websites AND developing some additional web database applications to tie into our Rentek solutions.
First, the free trial .. including me using the import function to create some dummy records and seeing what the system does. All this, including reading the support materials, and system features. While I believe you guys are the best option, I need to see it, touch it, and make sure it’s real. I am absolutely certain I’ll be checking out the support during the trial, both for real questions and for my assessment of the tech support provided. Support is a big factor, as we both discussed and agreed.

Second, I’ve already agreed to our tentative agreement to proceed .. assuming it all goes as we discussed. I’ll also be developing some web based applications to supplement your application .. yet to be defined, especially since I haven’t seen it yet.
I’m thrilled with the materials and video that was supplied as well.
Hopefully, Monday is begin reading/learning, then I’ll be adding sample data to the test account and viewing the demo site. I also plan to use the export function and see how our data is used in synching our Quick Books.
