Garlic Bread
Garlic bread is the perfect accompaniment to any Italian dish. The bread can be served alongside a plate of pasta or a nice fresh Italian salad. Simply warm some butter, oil, and garlic in a saucepan, making sure that you don’t burn the garlic. The longer you allow the mixture to simmer, the more garlic flavor that will come through on the bread. Dip a brush into the mixture and liberally brush the mixture onto freshly sliced bread. You can use any type of bread you prefer. Once the bread is coated, sprinkle the bread with parmesan cheese and toast it in the oven. When the bread begins to get a golden brown color on the top, remove it from the oven and serve it warm. In this video, Chef Fernando gives an easy-to-follow online cooking lesson on how to make fresh garlic bread.
