Developing Our Papa’s Recipes YouTubes

Hey, we’re more than just a pretty face. I’ve been collecting lots of recipes over the years. Now, I’m using our online recipes to house the recipes as well as related vides.

I’ll be producing lots of videos and recipe tutorials for online reference, and more important for your reference.

I created my “Made With Love” as sort of a quick introduction, including our home cooking site. Check it out.

The Papa’s Recipes YouTube library will be linked (where appropriate) to my recipes together with my associated online links (Food Blogs, Chef’s etc). Mangia

Bulletin Board – Ancillary Support for our blog

Setting up a bulletin board for reference and additional comeents, etc.

Planning or Pot Luck

We either making it, doing it out or talking about it .. Food, Glorious Food

Sometimes we all need a place to store our  ideas, reference materials, and somewhere to talk about things not directly related to our recipes.

Now, we’ve got a spot to put it all, and have some place to have our side chats. That’s our Bulletin Board. I, as moderator, will open new topics, share videos, and even foster events and holiday discussions. Click on the link to view it.

This will be open to all of our registered visitors for them to reference and discus off-topic ideas, suggestions and/or opinions about the recipes, as well as other areas, i.e., restaurants, etc

I’m also setting up a for our meetings and webinars so we can meet, present our canned presentations, etc. See a sample Webinar. I’m hoping to develop our own Webinars, as well as to include some I see on the web.

My goal is to enable our community to make the best use of today’s technology in the passion we, as that community, share.

Hopefully, we’ll have some volunteer Moderators and I can take care of the technical issues, and conduct the group meetings and webinars.

My mom (Victoria) taught

me everything important.

Do your best, and do it everyday. 

I setup my first recipe site, which is still alive. I’ll be adding lots of these as well as many of my original recipes.

Checkout my Papa’s Recipes website for more about it. I’m also including our story, which begins back in the early 1900’s. My family migrated from Spain to Italy back around 1522 .. and then to America. So much tradition, and now we’re living the good life .. wine, woman and song!

You can also view my Papa’s Recipes YouTube Playlist which I have used for both favorite recipes and for memories sake.

Lots of memories of Mama’s “Italian Sunday” too. Still a tradition. Click on the link for some of my memories.

My Papa’s Recipes App is in production and will be available Summer ’17. You can view my First Edition now, but the Second Edition will look and feel a lot like the recipes now being added here. I will be linking my app with our recipes included at our blog. My 2nd site, was called “Victoria’s Restaurant” in honor of my mom. Victoria’s was a more casual, blog style but included lots of recipes and an improved search function. It too didn’t have what I was looking to build.

Now, I’m taking my time to develop my application wth the best of the old, together with even better features and functions.

Hopefully, the result will be both a walk down memory lane as well as a more robust recipe database application.
